Nowadays, the globalization debate which is the historical outcome of modernization discussion has influenced the structures of technology and education. Acquaintance with and admittance to the modern world in more than one century of mental, social, economic and political contact with the West has changed the traditional arena of Iran social, economic and cultural system to a new one. These changes are more than that affect only one arena. They are not self motivated and not managed, but are unbalanced and non-geometrical in the space of social, economic and cultural relations. The said changes have the root in quality and nature of the contact between Iran and the West. Under the role of internal and external necessities, the contact itself is or has been inevitable. Although, the arena of industry and education are apparently under the influence of different factors of these changes; but reviewing the courses of changes of both arenas leads to the uniformity of these changes which have similar components in the structure of the both subjects. The essence of this changes whose background has remained mostly on the surface, arose from a viewpoint the domain of which extends to the arena of idea and thought. And what is hidden in reviewing these changes subsides the past high walls and accompanies us in new phenomena from the beginning to enter the new or modern world, and today the reflections of its pressure have been manifold and it is named globalization, grants more guidance and visualization. The following titles are the main bases of the discussion: What are technology and its relation with industry? What is training and its relation with education? What are modernization and its relation with modernism? What are the common conceptual challenges in training and technology subjects? What are the common insufficiencies of industry and education? How can we find the way out?
