Abstract
The need to change the economic system to ensure that it does not cross environmental limits creates many efforts to be sustainable. In this context, the circular economy model is expanding at the political and commercial levels. Therefore, according to the principles of the circular economy and its requirements, product design methods also undergo changes and must be adapted to the circular economy. The purpose of this article is to identify the effective factors for product design in the circular economy and to explain the relationships between the factors in the home appliance industry. In this research, using thematic analysis and the semi-structured interview tool, the factors influencing the design of the rotary product were first identified, and then the relationships between the influencing factors were explained using the interpretive structural modeling method. To collect data, interview method and relationship survey questionnaire were used, and the participants were 11 executive experts in circular economy and academic experts. For data analysis, the method of theme analysis and Interpretive structural modeling was used. Based on the analysis of the findings, a large number of codes and basic themes were prepared and based on them, 22 main themes were identified and the relationships between them were explained at four levels.
